PALISSY STORAGE JARS
This two piece set of storage jars are from the 1960s/1970s. They have a beaut speckled cream glaze with a mustard lid and a classic 60s/70s flower design in Brown, Mustard, Red and Orange. Striking set for any mid century home!
Heritage: Palissy Pottery was founded in 1946 in Longton. The works took their name from a Frenchman: Bernard Palissy b.1509 d.1590 he was a French Huguenot potter and writer. In 1958 The Royal Worcester Porcelain Company had bought Palissy.
Condition: Pre-loved but plenty of life! Larger jar seal is not effective anymore. You can pick these seals up very cheap from eBay if using to store dry food goods
